This year’s annual meeting of the CRI Dsolve was held on the 17.th and 18. th of April, at Radisson Red Oslo, Økern. Prior to the meeting, an innovation workshop organized by Norinnova was held on the 16.th of April. The workshop set focus on the path from research idea to commercial success, and on experiences and perspectives regarding collaboration with industrial partners. These are all very relevant topics for the work of Dsolve.
In the subsequent annual meeting, national and international research- and industrial partners participated and gave input to the project, and informed about further plans. Further, the use of biodegradable materials in the aquaculture industry was set on the agenda, and Maria Sparboe, environmental team leader at our new CRI partner SalMar, contributed with the industry's perspectives. Our two new PhD candidates, Anja Alvestad and Lorenzo Mucciarelli, affiliated respectively to Research Area three and four, were also introduced. The various research areas further contributed with news from their research.
The annual meeting, which brought together almost 30 representatives, also included a hybrid partner workshop on the afternoon of the 17.th of April. The partner workshop was organized by Research Area five and focusing on LCA methodology.
