In collaboration with FHF, DNB, the Institute of Marine Research and Indeks Nordland, UiT The Arctic University of Norway, invites to seminar and open boat on board the research vessel "FF Helmer Hanssen" during this year's Skrei Conference in Myre 6. March. Center leader Roger Larsen participates as host during the event, which offers, among other things, the following professional contributions:
• Plastic in the sea - why should we do something about it? - Roger Larsen, UiT and SFI Dsolve
• Alternatives to plastic in danish seines - Jørgen Vollstad, Sintef Ocean
Vollstad is the leader of Research Area 3 in Dsolve, Gear development, tests and demonstrations at sea.
SFI partner Norges Fiskarlag also contributes during the event. Maria Pettersvik Arvnes will present the Fishermen's Association's action plan for the work against marine litter.
